By Road

From the north: Leave the freeway A7 at the Göttingen Nord exit and enter B 27. Follow the signs towards “Universitätskliniken” into the street Robert-Koch-Straße (approx. 1 km). Continue on until you reach the intersection with the street Kreuzbergring, turning left here and then left at the next traffic lights into the street Von-Siebold-Straße. You will find the Institute for Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Research on the left, in the Center for Biostructural Imaging of Neurodegeneration, No. 3a.

From the south: Leave the freeway A7 at the exit “Göttingen”. Follow the road towards the railway station. From the road Groner Landstraße turn left into the street Berliner Straße. Follow this street until it turns into the street Nikolausberger Weg. Look for the Waldweg street on the left. Follow this street to the traffic lights and cross straight into the Von-Siebold-Straße. You will find the Institute for Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Research on the left, in the Center for Biostructural Imaging of Neurodegeneration, No. 3a.

By train & bus

From Frankfurt Airport:
Take the ICE train directly to Göttingen from the Long Distance Train Station (Fernbahnhof). Alternatively, take a local train (S-Bahn) from the airport to Frankfurt am Main Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), and then change for an ICE train to Göttingen.


From Hanover Airport:
Take a local train (S-Bahn) to Hanover Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and then take an ICE-train to Göttingen.
On arrival in Göttingen, the most convenient way to reach the Institute for Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis Research is by taxi (10 minutes). Alternatively you can catch the bus. The trip takes around 15 minutes.
Walk through the railway station passage, past the shops, and proceed to the main exit marked “Innenstadt/Zentrum”. Go diagonally right until you reach the bus stops directly on the main road (Bürgerstraße). Bus routes 41/42 depart every 15 minutes.

Bus route No. 41
The bus will display “Weende Ost”. Get off the bus at the stop called Beyerstraße. Go back the few steps to the intersection and turn left into the street called Kreuzbergring. Turn left at the next corner and you’ll be in Von-Siebold-Straße. You’ll soon see No. 3a on the right-hand side. If you press the doorbell marked “Institut für Neuroimmunologie & MS-Forschung”, we will open the door and come to meet you.

Bus route No. 42
The bus will display “Pappenberg”. Get off the bus at the stop called Maria-Montessori-Weg. You’ll be in a street called Waldweg. Walk in the same direction the bus was going and cross the road at the traffic lights. Here Waldweg turns into Von-Siebold-Straße. You’ll see No. 3a on your left. If you press the doorbell marked “Institut für Neuroimmunologie & MS-Forschung”, we will open the door and come to meet you.
