Microscopy course in Bordeaux
Recently, Francesca Odoardi (co-director of the course), Alexander Flügel (keynote speaker), Arianna Merlini & Michael Haberl (instructors) could pass on their expertise on the live imaging of neuroimmunological processes via 2-photon microscopy to young scientists at the CAJAL course Advanced Imaging Techniques for Neuroscience at the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience in France. The CAJAL training courses have an excellent reputation in the neuroscience field, with applications coming from all over the world to secure one of the limited places in the course. The IMSF people involved this time found it rewarding to teach such an international group of enthusiastic young neuroscientists.
